Jusuke Hanayagi V (born 3 October 1992)
is Japanese Traditional Dancer (Nihon Buyo Dancer) and Actor.
He is 5th head master(Soke Iemoto) of the Hanayagi style.
He started Nihon Buyo when he was 2 years old.
June, 2007, He succeeded to the 6th Yoshijiro Hanayagi and held a performance commemorating his succession in Kabukiza-Theater.
His grandfather is (Juoh Hanayagi Ⅱ)
About name...
Hanayagi Yoshijiro is a stage name taken on by a series of Japanese Traditional dancer (Nihon Buyo Dancer) or actors of Hanayagi family. Most of these were blood relatives, though some were adopted into the family. It is a famous and important name, and receiving it is an honor.
Yoshijiro, like Kabuki actors' names, is bestowed at grand naming ceremonies called shūmei in which a number of actors formally change their names. A number of actors have followed a particular sequence in their stage names, following it by achieving the name Jusuke Hanayagi.
